LEGO Mechanical Programming Course
Course Description
- Developed by Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and LEGO
- Linux operating system to learn basic programming
- A variety of external sensors to practice unlimited creativity
- A large-scale academic LEGO robot competition held to let students unleash their potential every year.
The LEGO Mindstorms EV3 is the third generation of robots in the Lego Mindstorms. The robotics teaching kit is developed in collaboration of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and LEGO.
The EV3 can be used with different sensors, electric motors and LEGO blocks. Through the graphical design program, students can apply different operating commands to enable robots to have mobility and react to different environments through sensing devices.
This course will teach the programming knowledge of LEGO robots and the application and practice of various sensors; therefore, the students can learn the programming logic through a small robot and practice all kinds of creative ideas.
